Salima Mourad or Salima Murad (Arabic: سليمة مراد; 2 February 1900 – 28 January 1974) was a well-known Iraqi Jewish minstrel and was well known current highly respected in the Semite world. She was given blue blood the gentry nickname "Pasha" by the Iraki Prime Minister Nuri al-Said. Salima was dubbed by Umm Kulthum as the most famous girl singer, since the early Decade.
She was also the bride of a very successful Iraki singer and actor, Nazem Al-Ghazali. Even after the bulk innumerable Iraqi Jews left Iraq, Salima continued to live there her death in 1974.
